Garbage Bin Guddu and Gang by Faisal Mohd (D)

Garbage Bin is a very popular comic strip created by cartoonist Faisal Mohd. The book, Garbage Bin: Guddu And Gang (Volume - 1), is a collection of these comic strips, based on Guddu and his friends.

The main character is Guddu, a lovable devil, who reminds us of our own childhood, and the pranks we played as kids. Guddu has a ‘tapori’ gang, a best friend Shaan, who also loves to play pranks. He loves video games, jalebis, the rain, and maa ki roti.

There are other interesting characters like Sid Bhai, who is an IITian, Ustaad Niralay ji, Tindey Baba, Laila, Amitji and others. The incidents portrayed in the gags are such that most of us can relate to them. This is probably the reason these gags have gained immense popularity, and have a huge following on Facebook.

Faisal Mohd is a cartoonist based in Delhi. He became famous for his Guddu and Gang gags. He began his career as a cartoonist with Raj Comics.

He took a break from his passion, and set up a design studio, Geek Mentors. However, Mohd soon returned to what he enjoyed best. He started writing cartoons in the form of gags as a stress buster. Gradually the series, Garbage Bin, came out.
