I am writing this letter with a definite purpose. I want to thank you for the wonderful book, `Buddhibalacha Onama.` I was always curious about chess. But no one in my family was familiar with the game. We knew only the basic things about chess. So we started playing by following the basic rules and ending up in trying to take away the king from the board. It was then we came across your book, which gave us an opportunity to learn the game scientifically. When we went through it completely, we realised that we were playing very childishly. You have explained the basic rules very simply. An amateur will also be able to follow them and then play accordingly. Earlier, I used to see the games and moves in the daily `Maharashtra Times`, but used to live it aside as it was difficult for me to understand it, but now after going through your book, I attempt the game, finish it and then only relax. Your book has turned this painful game into an interesting one. Thanks to you. Once again I would like to thank you and congratulate you for coming up with this interesting book.
